Description
The services of a writer who knows both official languages are required to write an annual report of approximately 40 pages. As an officer of Parliament, the Commissioner of Official Languages must table an annual report, which informs and reports to Parliament and the public on the Office of the Commissioner’s accomplishments over a given fiscal year, as well as the status of official languages in Canada. In addition to being the Office of the Commissioner’s most important publication, it is also an essential communication tool.
