Description
This requirement is set aside for Aboriginal suppliers in accordance with the government Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business. The bidder must certify in its bid that it is an Aboriginal business as defined within the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business. The Department of Indian and Northern Affairs, Canada (DIAND), Manitoba (MB) Region and Saskatchewan (SK)has a requirement for desktop support. These services will support the regions by providing reliable access to information resources, computer hardware and end-user support which includes account management. DIAND wishes to enter into a two year contract with an option for a third and fourth year. DIAND seeks a contract with a company that can provide, under TBIPS resource definitions of qualification levels: - 2 (TWO) Level 2 Helpdesk support resources in Winnipeg, Manitoba - 1 (One) Level 2 Helpdesk support resource in Regina, Saskatchewan Bidders submitting Proposals MUST propose services for all three resources. NOTE: An individual may not be named under more than one (1) Proposal. Detailed tasks and deliverables are found in the Scope of Work. The work of two resources will be carried out in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The work of one resource will be carried out in Regina, Saskatchewan. Virtual support will not meet the onsite requirements. The Bidder must have been in operation as a business for a minimum of five (5) years, and must have provided Information Technology Services for a minimum of five (5) years. All the Bidder’s resources must be security cleared to Government of Canada SECRET level by Contract award. Bidders will be assessed at the corporate and resource level based on experience, qualifications, quality of proposal, and cost. The Contracts period will be from date of award to May 30th, 2017. The option to renew will be at the sole discretion of the crown from June 1st, 2017 to May 30th 2018, and June 1st, 2018 to May 30th, 2019. Point of Hire is Winnipeg (Manitoba). This procurement is subject to the World Trade Organization - Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO - AGP)
