Defence Construction Canada – Abbreviated Proposals for Consulting Services – Standing Offer for Land Surveying Services as 14 Wing Greenwood and its satellite locations, Nova Scotia.

In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional
associations of the Province of Nova Scotia, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is
calling for Abbreviated Proposals from consulting firms to provide “as and when
required” professional services specific to Department of National Defence (DND)
requirements located in 14 Wing, Greenwood, Nova Scotia.

The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposal (RFAP) is to select one (1) firm,
who will establish a Standing Offer (SO) with DCC to provide services on an “as and when
required” basis to a maximum estimated value of $500,000.00, for a period of three (3) years
from the date of establishment.

If mutually agreeable between the Consultant and DCC, the SO may be extended for up to
one (1) additional one year period and increased in the order of $250,000.00 for a possible
total maximum value of $750,000.00 over the SO.

Call-ups under the SO are expected to be valued between $5,000 and $30,000; the
maximum value of a call-up is $50,000.

This opportunity follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.

Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposal document.  The criteria relate to achievements and experience, technical and managerial expertise, and consultant coordination.  The highest ranking firm selected through the evaluation process, including a factor for the price element, will be invited to negotiate a standing offer with DCC.
