UK MINISTRY OF DEFENCE (MOD) – PROCUREMENT OF CAPABILITIES TO REPLACE EXISTING NATO JOINT ELECTRONIC WARFARE CORE STAFF (JEWCS) CAPABILITY PACKAGE

The Joint Electronic Warfare Core Staff (JEWCS) is a NATO training organization that provides a realistic electronic environment for NATO units under training.  The Unit operates a variety of radar & communications jamming, simulation & surveillance equipment which it deploys around Europe to provide Electronic Warfare (EW) training to NATO Nations.  However, this equipment is no longer able to represent the modern operational environment and suffers from increasing obsolescence issues which are affecting availability.  NATO intends to procure a Capability Package (CP) that will provide JEWCS with a suite of modern EW equipment allowing the Unit to deliver state of the art training and address the advances in electro-magnetic threat and countermeasure technology.
