Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals for Project Number: N000420: Environmental Site Remediation Services at the Former Canadian Forces Station Moisie in Sept-Iles.

In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from Contractor firms to provide the following services, but not limited to: 

1.	environmental site remediation with a proper and authorized method, to meet the contract’s objectives with satisfaction;
2.	submit a post-remediation soil sampling program, to confirm the remediation objectives have been met;
3.	Restoring the site to its existing condition.

Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals.  The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise.  The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposals is to select the proponent with the highest total score.

This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.

The estimated cost of this project is in the order of magnitude of $5,500,000.

A site visit has been arranged for the following date, time and location.  It is highly recommended that Proponents attend this visit.

Location: The meeting point will be at the guard house (building no. 37) located at the end of the Saint-Laurent Street, in front of the site that needs to be remediated.
