This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 21801-15-0085 dated 2015-07-09 with a closing of 2015-08-20 at 14:00hrs, DST. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation. This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada has a requirement to maintain and repair all elevators, dumbwaiters, material lifts and handicap lifts within the institutions of the Pacific region. The Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations part IV Elevating devices require that every elevating device and every safety device be maintained by elevator personnel in accordance with the applicable Canadian Safety Association (CSA) standards for elevating devices. Trade agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), World Trade Organization-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)/Canada-Peru, Canada-Colombia and/or Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreements. Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid, Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract includes site security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. Regional Elevator Maintenance. Objectives: Monthly/Quarterly maintenance that maintains the equipment at original performance to the factory specifications within the CSA standards. Deliverables: The Contractor to furnish all necessary tools, equipment, materials and labour in the provision of maintenance testing, adjustments, repairs, preventive maintenance services and software updates on a monthly/quarterly basis. Expected Delivery Date: 2015-12-01 to 2019-03-31 with two (2) one (1) year option years.
