Defence Construction Canada – Request for Proposals for Facilities Maintenance and Support Services at the Defence Research and Development Canada in Toronto, ON.

Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Facilities Maintenance firms to provide proposals to carry out the required Facilities Maintenance Services for buildings and associated areas for the Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) in Toronto, Ontario.

This all-encompassing Facility Maintenance and Support Services Contract requires the Contractor to be responsible for the Maintenance and Support Services of all identified buildings, land areas and their associated infrastructure within the defined property limits that will ensure compliance with all regulations, standards and codes and to a standard that will not cause the buildings to deteriorate beyond normal wear and tear throughout the contract term.

The Contractor will be required to provide Facilities Maintenance and Support Services over the next three (3) years and to start Services on April 1, 2016 in support of infrastructure, grounds and building for 10 buildings with an approximate total gross area of 23,783 m2.

If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended up to three (3) additional two (2) year periods, for a possible total of nine (9) years.

Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Proposals.

The estimated contract value over a 3 year period is in the order of $2.5M.

This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
