    NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP)

    This requirement is for the department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada.

    Title: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF 909 LITRE ABOVE-GROUND DIESEL STORAGE TANKS AT POINT ESCUMINAC LIGHT STATION, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, NEW BRUNSWICK

    Sealed, signed tenders will be received up to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time: November 26, 2015 for the attached services in accordance with the documents enclosed.

    Please address the bid to Nancy L. Stanford, Senior Contracting Officer. The bid can be e-mailed to Nancy L. Stanford at nancy.stanford@dfo-mpo.gc.ca or make sure any outside envelope (i.e. courier envelopes) are addressed as per the sample below.

    The onus is on the bidder to ensure that the bid is delivered on time to the location designated.

    Any tender received after the above noted time will be considered late and will be returned to the sender unopened. Tenders may be revised by email, letter or fax (613) 991-1297, provided the tender and revision(s) are both received prior to Tender Closing Time.

    Nature of the Work:

    The work consists of the furnishing of : 1) draining, cleaning, dismantling, removing and dispensing three (3) 909 litre above-ground diesel storage tanks, and; 2) installation of two (2) new 909 litre above-ground diesel storage tanks, appurtenances, and monitoring console as shown on the contract drawings.

    Location of Work, Work site and Delivery Point:

    The site is located at Point Escuminac Light Station, Point Escuminac, Northumberland County, New Brunswick.

    Optional Site Visit

    If Contractors wish to attend this site to familiarize themselves with the scope of work and tender requirements, please contact the contracting officer to arrange the date and time. Contractors are responsible for all costs associated with getting from home base to Point Escuminac, Northumberland County, New Brunswick.

    Start Date: Upon Contract Award

    Completion Date: All work to be completed by March 31, 2016.

    Fisheries and Oceans Canada will not necessarily accept the lowest or any of the tenders received and reserves the right to reject any and all tenders received which shall be final and at the sole discretion of the Department.
