Nature of Requirements:

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for the supply and installation of two (2) benchtop non-radioactive ion mobility spectrometers (IMS) with onsite user training for approximately 6 users.

One contract will be issued as a result of this solicitation

Security: There is a security requirement associated with the requirement. For additional information, consult Part 4- Evaluation Procedures and Basis of Selection, and Part 6 – Resulting Contract Clauses of the Request for Proposal document.

Basis of Selection:

1. To be declared responsive,

a) A bid must: comply with all the requirements of the bid solicitation;

b) Meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria; and

c) Must not provide a financial bid in excess of the stipulated maximum budget of $100,000.00 (applicable taxes extra)

2. Bids not meeting (a) or (b) or (c) will be declared non-responsive. The responsive bid with the highest number of points will be recommended for award of a contract, provided that the total evaluated price does not exceed the budget available for this requirement.

Delivery date: Delivery and Installation must take place on or before March 31^st, 2016

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
