    Description

    Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals for Environmental Consultant Services for Hazardous Materials Source List for the Atlantic Region.

    In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the commissions will be managed, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from environmental consulting firms to establish a Source List to provide “as and when required” professional services specific to Department of National Defence (DND) requirements at various locations in the Atlantic Region. Location include but are not limited to CFB Halifax and 14 Wing Greenwood, Nova Scotia; CFB Gagetown, New Brunswick, CFS St. John’s, 9 Wing Gander and 5 Wing Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador and any ancillary sites in the Atlantic Region.

    The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposal (RFAP) is to select three (3) firms, with the highest total scores, who will be placed on a Source List (SL) with DCC to provide environmental consultant services on an “as and when required” basis to a maximum estimated value of $2,000,000.00 for a period of three (3) years from the date of the SL establishment.

    If mutually agreeable between the Consultant and DCC, the value of the SL may be increased within the first three (3) year period in the order of $1,000,000 if required. This SL may be extended for up to two (2) additional one (1) year period and increased in the order of $700,000.00 for each additional period.

    Commissions are expected to be valued between $15,000 and $40,000; the maximum value of a commission is $300,000. The SL is not a commitment by DCC to spend the entire amount.

    Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals.

    This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
