    DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project No. AC159509

    In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where services will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from airfields engineering consultants to provide “as and when required” services. The services may include, but are not limited to:

    • Pavement evaluations including surface condition and structural capacity assessments;
    • Development of pavement rehabilitation and maintenance options;
    • Geotechnical investigations and design recommendations;
    • Pavement structural (thickness) designs;
    • Material specification reviews;
    • Aggregate sourcing investigations;
    • On-site troubleshooting of construction-related issues
    • Cost estimating and life cycle costing analyses;
    • Pavement management system data collection;
    • Airfield layout and grading designs;
    • Airfield drainage system designs

      Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise. The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposals is to select the Proponent with the highest total score.

      This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.

      The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Procurement Documents.

      The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $550,000.
