Description of the requirement:

As part of its obligations under the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat’s Directive on Recordkeeping, EC is required to implement an EDRMS. The EDRMS is part of an overall IM strategy and vision to implement tools to facilitate effective recordkeeping practices within the Agency to create, acquire, capture, manage and protect the integrity of electronic and non-electronic information resources of business value in the delivery of its programs and services.

As a result, The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer requires a Technical Architect to configure and maintain GCDocs in order to implement the tool across the Agency. Implementing GCDocs is part of an overall IM strategy and a vision to put in place tools to leverage technology to assist in the management of information resources. Elections Canada is undertaking an initiative to implement OpenText Content Server and applicable components of the GCDocs product suite.

Proposed period of contract:

The proposed period of contract shall be from award of a contract for a period starting at contract award (estimated to be around April 1st , 2016) to March 31st, 2017 with an option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional 12 month periods, under the same terms and conditions.
