High Visibility Vests with Police Markings

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of 1900 Vest, High Visibility with Police Markings. This requirement includes two option periods of a quantity of up to 500 Vest, High Visibility with Police Markings each. Option 1 can be ordered within 24 months of contract award and Option 2 can be ordered within 36 months of contract award. This requirement also includes an "as and when requested" quantity of up to 10 made-to-measure Vest, High Visibility with Police Markings (specials) which can be ordered within 36 months of contract award.

This requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-146 dated 2016-02-02, viewing sample and patterns. Specification documents can be found attached to the Request for Proposal (RFP).

The RCMP Viewing Sample and base patterns will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-contract award sample.

This requirement is subject to AIT.

This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods (See AIT - Article 504, paragraph 6)

The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract (1 contract)

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
