Nature of Requirements:

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) Health Services require the services of After- Hours Physician Coverage - General Practitioner covering all Institutions in the Ontario Region

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

CSC has a legal obligation, under the Corrections and Conditional Release Act (CCRA), to “provide every inmate with essential health care and reasonable access to non essential mental health care”.

Objectives: Provide and coordinate essential health services to inmates at Ontario Region Institutions as an After-Hours General Practitioner.

Deliverables: The Contractor must provide all services in compliance with federal and provincial legislation and standards, provincial and national guidelines (such as the Canadian Immunization Guide), practice standards and CSC Policy/Guidelines and including the CSC Mental Health Policy and guidelines.

Expected Delivery Date: September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2017 with two (2) two year renewable option periods.

The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
