Eco-Science Building Recapitalization – Terra Nova NP

Description of Work: Construction contract to rehabilitate Eco-Science Building located in the Terra Nova National Park in Glovertown, NL.

Work of this Contract is comprised of general construction renovations to the existing Eco-Science building at Terra Nova National Park, NL. The work covered under this project includes furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment, hardware, and materials compliant in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings.

The contract will include renovations to the Eco-Science building; including renovating the exterior building face, renovating the building interior, and renovating the exterior deck/walkway; and all associated work, as indicated on the drawings.

 Closing Date and Time: Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 1400 hrs (EDT)

Optional Site Visit:

THERE WILL BE AN OPTIONAL SITE VISIT ON: August 18th, 2016 @ 1:00 PM.

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the Eco-Science Bldg located 13km east of the TCH/Route 310 intersection. The building is in the vicinity of the Terra Nova NP administration office.

Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

Delivery Date: The Work must be completed on or before December 31, 2016.
