NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT: W8485-173905

1. The Department of National Defence has a requirement for Initial Provisionning of a New Supplemental Light Weight Stretcher( SLWS) . The aim is to obtain a safe, reliable and functional SLWS to support requirements for Search and Rescue Operations.

1. The Technical Statement of Work( SOW) establishes the requirements for the operational performance, design, verification, maintainability, quality assurance, and operability for the new SLWS, for procurement purposes of 118 units. The nature of work to be performed by the SLWS provider under this SOW involves providing:

1.  Pre-award sample required with the bids;

   b. Ancillary Equipment;

   c. Recommendation for Spare Parts;

   d. Production and delivery of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operating and
   maintenance manuals;

   e. Initial cadre training support;

f. Course syllabus and material to allow regenerative training by qualified CAF personnel; and

g. Documentation of the performed work and delivered product.

4. Bidders must indicate the Brand Name and Model and/or Part Number/ and the NCAGE they are offering.

5. The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
