    Description

    The National Capital Commission (NCC) is seeking to establish a Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) for a period of three years from the date of award for the services of a contractor on an “as and when requested” basis for concrete and masonry services, general maintenance and service calls in the National Capital Region (Quebec and Ontario lands). The goal of this project is to accomplish minor masonry – brickwork, stonework, tuckpointing, brick cleaning etc., and minor concrete – chimney repairs and rebuilds, concrete steps, concrete patios and all concrete repairs and resurfacing, repair or replace concrete window sills, general service calls and emergency response calls on pre-arranged hourly rate for equipment and crews.

    More than one Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) may be awarded as a result of this request for proposals. The resulting SOA(s) will be for a period of three (3) years from date of award.

    To be considered, your tender must be received no later than 3 p.m. Ottawa time on December 13, 2016 at the National Capital Commission, 2nd Floor Security Centre, 40 Elgin Street in Ottawa, Canada, K1P 1C7, with a reference to tender file #NR77. Tenders can be faxed at fax number 613-239-5012 only. Email or late submissions will not be accepted.

Enquiries should be received no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer not being provided. To ensure consistency and quality of the information provided to all Proponents, the Senior Contract Officer shall examine the content of the enquiry and shall decide whether or not to issue an amendment. All enquiries and other communications related to this proposal sent throughout the solicitation period are to be directed ONLY to the Senior Contract Officer named above. Non-compliance with this requirement during the solicitation period can, for that reason alone, result in disqualification of a proposal.

    Note that amounts quoted in this RFP are in Canadian dollars. Payment is net is 30 days.
