Statistics Canada (StatCan) is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) in order to obtain information on the availability in the marketplace of web scraping services to collect online pricing data for purchased goods and services in Canada.

StatCan is also looking to solicits comments, concerns and where applicable, alternative recommendations from interested parties regarding how the requirements or objectives described in this RFI could be satisfied. 

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
