This requirement is for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO).
Title: AICFI Independent Third Party Evaluator
Purpose:
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) has a requirement to establish an Independent Third Party Evaluator (the Evaluator) to provide technical assistance to the Atlantic Integrated Commercial Fisheries Initiative (AICFI) on an “as and when required” basis. The Evaluator will carry out a review and assessment of applications for AICFI Component 4 support from eligible MMFN communities, particularly in relation to the technical feasibility and practicality of the work proposed and its alignment with the capacity-building and use of the FMS or an equivalent program. Additional work shall include a requirement to review/assist in the development of materials, including policy documentation/statistical reports relating to AICFI, for use by the AICFI Senior Management Aboriginal Policy Committee (SMAPC).
PERIOD OF CONTRACT
The Contract period is from contract award to March 31, 2017.
The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the resulting Contract by up to 4 (four) additional one (1) year period(s) under the same conditions.

Reliability Status. with approved Document Safeguarding at the level of PROTECTED B.
SELECTION METHOD
Basis of Selection - Highest Combined Rating (75%) of Technical Merit and Price (25%)
