Description of Work:
The IM/IT Bureau (SID) has over the past two years been integrating IM/IT systems of the former Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) and the former Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). With the amalgamation-related work mostly completed, one of the key priorities over the next year will be a focus on overall modernization activities.
The Client Relations and Information Technology Governance division (SIE) needs to modernize and mature its end-to-end business intake, systems development lifecycle and project management lifecycle processes. In support, SIE is to launch a multi-year exercise to automate this end-to-end process. In addition, SIE also supports all of SID’s functions with business analysis and project management resources to deliver on various initiatives in the Bureau. Therefore, SIE requires a multi-year contracting vehicle which allows the division to supplement its internal teams with professional services as required.
