Request for Quotation:
Installation and Configuration of Cisco Unified Communications Core Upgrade for DND Halifax and Esquimalt
1. Definition of requirement: This bid solicitation is being issued by Shared Services Canada. The resulting contract will be used to upgrade existing telecommunications equipment and to allow SSC to provide services to its client the Department of National Defence.
The resulting contracts are for the installation and configuration of upgrades to the Cisco Unified Communications systems at two primary locations CFB Halifax, NS and CFB Esquimalt, BC.
This bid solicitation does not preclude SSC from using any other method of supply available.
The requirements are articulated in the attached Statement of Requirements for the Installation and Configuration of Cisco Unified Communications Core Upgrades for DND Halifax and Esquimalt. (See attached Annex A - SOW)
2. Security requirement: This solicitation contains security requirements for vendor and personnel security screening. (See attached Annex C - SRCL)
3. Trade Agreements: This requirement is subject to the following agreements:
Canada has invoked the National Security Exception in respect of this requirement and, as a result, none of the trade agreements apply to this requirement.
Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements (CLCAs) do not apply as all the goods and services shall be delivered in regions not covered by Land Claim Agreements.
