    Notice to suppliers—Request For Information on Public Safety Broadband Network November 3, 2017

    November 3, 2017 — Ottawa— Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is releasing a Request For Information (RFI) soliciting ICT/telecom industry perspectives on potential implementation models for a national Public Safety Broadband Network (PSBN) in Canada.

    • Closing date: January 5, 2018.

    Why participate

    The Government of Canada is engaging diverse stakeholders on potential implementation models for a national PSBN in Canada.

    In support of this activity, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is releasing this RFI, soliciting ICT/telecom industry perspectives on potential business and governance models, as well as conditions for a healthy Canadian ecosystem of applications, services, and devices.

    Respondents are invited to answer in writing the RFI questions and provide their comments, suggestions, and concerns and, where applicable, alternative recommendations regarding how the objectives or the outcomes described in this RFI could be satisfied.

    We encourage all suppliers to participate.
