“OPEN BY DEFAULT” PORTAL PROCUREMENT PILOT

1. SCOPE

The Government of Canada would like to thank all respondents who participated in the Open by Default Procurement Pilot – Call for Proposals (CFP) 24062-180072/B. As a pilot, the federal departments that were involved are very interested in how we can improve our procurement processes going forward. The procurement processes involved were:

• Letter of Interest (LOI) No. 24062-180072/A; and
• Call for Proposals (CFP) Solicitation No. 24062-180072/B.

2. NEXT STEPS

Public Services and Procurement Canada has prepared a questionnaire to seek feedback on the procurement process associated with the Open by Default Procurement Pilot. Participants of the process and interested stakeholders are encouraged to complete this questionnaire. The questionnaire is accessible via the following link:

3. RECOMMENDATIONS FROM STAKEHOLDERS

The issuance of this questionnaire does not create an obligation for Canada to issue a subsequent CFP and does not bind Canada legally or otherwise, to enter into any agreement or to accept any suggestions from participants.

No payment will be made for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of a response to the questionnaire.

Participation in this engagement activity is not required in order for a stakeholder to submit a proposal to any future CFP.

4. SUBMISSION DATE

Responses to this questionnaire should be submitted on or before November 20, 2017.
