Request for Proposals:
MOBILE COMPUTERS For SHARED SERVICES CANADA
1. Definition of requirement: This bid solicitation is being issued by Shared Services Canada. The resulting contract will be used by SSC to provide shared services to the Department of National Defense.
The resulting contract is for the supply of 100 mobile computers that will be used as a rugged, handheld barcode label scanners/readers.
The delivery point will be in Montreal, QC.
This bid solicitation does not preclude SSC from using any other method of supply available.
The requirements are articulated in the attached Mobile Computers Request for Quotation.
2. Security requirement: This solicitation does not contain any security requirements.
3. Trade Agreements: Canada has invoked the National Security Exception in respect of this requirement and, as a result, none of the trade agreements apply to this requirement.
Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements (CLCAs) do not apply as all the goods and services shall be delivered in regions not covered by Land Claim Agreements.
