Vehicle Rentals for G7 Summit

Requirement: Canada will be hosting the Group of Seven (G7) from June 8 -9, 2018 at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu in La Malbaie, Quebec, located in the Charlevoix region.

The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to acquire short term vehicle rental services for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for various periods between contract award and July 6, 2018 in support of RCMP operations during the G7 Summit.

The rental services must include delivery and pick up at specified addresses. The requirement includes firm quantities and optional quantities of vehicles.

This requirement is separated in the following seven (7) categories:
1A - seven (7) passenger vans, quantity: 38
1B - seven (7) passenger vans, quantity: 41
1C - seven (7) passenger vans, quantity: 39
2A - Fifteen (15) passenger vans, quantity: 29
2B - Fifteen (15) passenger vans, quantity: 28
3A - Full size sedans, quantity: 33
3B - Full size sedans, quantity: 30

Bidders are permitted to submit a bid on one or more category.

Refer to the attached tender documents to obtain further information.

Basis of selection: A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price per category will be recommended for award of a contract. It is anticipated that up to seven (7) contracts will be awarded resulting from this RFP.

Security Requirements: There is no security requirement associated with the requirement.

The national security exceptions provided for in the trade agreements have been invoked; therefore, this procurement is excluded from all of the obligations of all the trade agreements.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement.
