Item Required: Mattress, Prisoner, High Risk

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of four hundred and two (402) Mattress, Prisoner, High Risk. This requirement includes two (2) options for an estimated quantity of four hundred and thirty (430) Mattress, Prisoner High Risk. The Optional quantity can be ordered within 36 months from contract award through contract amendment.

The requirement is to be supplied in accordance with RCMP Specification G.S. 1045-279 dated 2017-10-23, and viewing sample. Specification documents can be found attached to the Request for Proposal (RFP).

The RCMP Viewing Sample will only be available to bidders requested to submit a pre-contract award sample.

The requirement is subject to CFTA, CCFTA, CCoFTA, CETA, CHFTA, CKFTA, NAFTA, CPaFTA, CPFTA and WTO-AGP

The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract (1 contract only).

The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

The Ineligibility and Suspension Policy and integrity clauses are being incorporated in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.

Bids must be submitted only to Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Bid Receiving Unit by the date, time and place indicated on page 1 of the bid solicitation.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
