This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), Health Services, requires the services of a psychiatrist for Grand Valley Institution.

Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

The CSC Health Services has a requirement for the services of psychiatrist for the Grand Valley Institution in the Ontario Region. The psychiatrist will provide psychiatric care services to offenders and collaborate with the interdisciplinary health services team that includes, but is not limited to: nursing; psychology, social work, occupational therapy and other allied healthcare professionals.

Objectives: To provide mental health services to offenders at Grand Valley Institution as a psychiatrist.

Deliverables: The Contractor must provide approximately 3 clinic hours per week for up to 52 weeks. Emergency call-in services may be required. The hours of service will be determined between the Contractor and the Project Authority after award of contract. The Contractor must provide the services according to the operational requirements of the Institution. Operational requirements may include varied hours of work

Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of 01 October 2018 to 30 September 2019 with the option to renew for up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
