Request for Supply Arrangement Proposal - Structural Engineering Services - International (AWT-AESVCS-STRUCT-15129/B)

This is to inform you that the reference solicitation has been cancelled due to an error with the proposal delivery email address on the RFSA cover page. A new solicitation will be posted for 5 days on Buyandsell.gc.ca, to allow bidders to properly submit their proposals to the corrected proposal delivery email address.

Please note that proposal documents received from bidders under the reference solicitation have not been consulted, will be deleted and will not be considered under the new solicitation. Bidders are recommended to submit a new proposal under the new solicitation # AWT-AESVC-STRUCT-15129/B. All previous amendments to the cancelled solicitation will be incorporated into the revised solicitation AWT-AESVC-STRUCT-15129/B, therefore bidders may choose to resubmit the same bid, using the amended solicitation number within their proposal.

The Project:

The Government of Canada, through Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD has been mandated, as part of the Delivery, Professional & Technical Services Bureau (AWD), to provide support to the Planning and Stewardship Bureau (ARD) of the Department. ARD has the mandate to manage all international Canadian Foreign Mission Properties.

It is part of ARD’s mandate to provide safe and secure work spaces at these Canadian property assets in compliance with the Canada Labour Code. To ensure this condition is met, AWT has an ongoing occasional requirement to obtain the services of a Structural Engineering Consultant. The requirement to obtain the services of a Structural Engineering Consultant may occasionally have an impact on other aspects of the work spaces. This will give rise to include other professional services such as Architectural, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geophysical, and Seismological services to be provided through the Structural Engineering services provider.

Scope of Work:

The scope of work consists of providing architectural & engineering services as defined in the Description of Services in the Draft Supply Arrangement. All documentation to be developed by the Consultant will be produced in English or French.
