    PSYCHOLOGIST SERVICES – COMMUNITY PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING

    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Quebec East-West District – Rimouski Region.

    Trade agreement: This procurement is not subject to any trade agreement.

    Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.

    Competitive Procurement Strategy: The right of first refusal will be used when placing call-ups and the Contractor who has the professional office located the closest to the offender’s residence will be considered first.

    Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.

    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

    Security Requirements: This contract includes security requirements.

    Nature of Requirements:

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) Health Services require the services of a psychologist to provide psychological services for community offenders living in the Rimouski Region, which includes, but is not limited to, the following cities: Rimouski, St-Fabien and Mont-Joli.

    The Rimouski Region has a parole office located at :

    [ ] 180, de la Cathédrale, #230, Rimouski (Quebec) G5L 5H9.

    The Contractor may provide services from the parole office of Rimouski or from his professional office or from the parole office of Rimouski and his professional office.

    Objectives: Provide psychological counseling services to the community offenders living in the Rimouski Region.

    Deliverables: The Contractor must provide, as and when needed, psychological counseling services to the community offenders living in the Rimouski Region. These services include, but are not limited to, individual therapy, writing treatment reports, such as treatment plans or treatment summaries, as well as case discussions.

    Term of Contract: The period of this standing offer is from April 1st, 2019 until March 31st, 2020 inclusively, with a possibility of three (3) additional twelve (12)-months periods.

Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
