DCC – RFAP for CFS Alert Contaminated Sites Management, CFS Alert, Nunavut

Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from consulting firms to provide professional services specific to this Department of National Defence (DND) project, which will be located at CFS Alert, Nunavut.

The scope of work in includes but is not limited to, a detailed historical information review of assessment and remediation works completed in Alert to date, and to complete a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) to identify historical and/or current areas of potential environmental concern (APECs). This will include known areas of environmental concern (AECs) and contaminants of concern (COCs) at the site. Based on this review, the Consultant is to complete a data gap analysis, and develop and implement a field work plan to support the development of a remedial options analysis/risk management plan (ROA/RMP) and eventually recommend and support the remediation works required at the site.

Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals. 

This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
