(SA) # E60PQ-140003/C - Product Category 2 - Freestanding Height Adjustable Desk

This NPP is issued pursuant to PWGSC Supply Arrangement (SA) # E60PQ-140003/C and covers a requirement from the following Product Category(ies) of the SA:

• Product Category 2 - Freestanding Height Adjustable Desk

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) requires the acquisition, delivery, and installation of up to 600 Sit/Stand Range Height Adjustable Work Surfaces to retrofit several CIC buildings.

The initial contract will cover the purchase and delivery of 450 Freestanding Height Adjustable Desks as well as optional quantity that will be delivered at the 70 Crémazie Building, 70 Crémazie, Gatineau, QC, J8Y 3P2, on 07 August 2019 during normal working hours. Optional quantity: The Contract Authority will decide at Contract Award, how many extra Sit/Stand Range Height Adjustable Work Surfaces will be required up to a maximum of 150. These additional Sit/Stand Range Height Adjustable Work Surfaces will form part of the original Contract and will also be delivered at the 70 Crémazie Building, 70 Crémazie, Gatineau, QC, J8Y 3P2, on 07 August 2019 during normal working hours.

The installation of the Freestanding Height Adjustable Desks delivered at the 70 Crémazie Building, 70 Crémazie, Gatineau, QC, J8Y 3P2, on 07 August 2019 during will be done in a phased approach and will not coincide with the delivery date. Installation will be done in different CIC buildings in the National Capital Region at different times. CIC (not the winning bidder) will be responsible to pre-positioned the number of units to be installed at the required location in the NCR. The Procurement Authority will provide the winning bidder the location, the number of Freestanding Height Adjustable Desks to be installed and timing of the installation at least 5 days in advance of the requirement. For planning purpose: a minimum of 40 Freestanding Height Adjustable Desks will be installed at a time. Installation cost for the Freestanding Height Adjustable Desks delivered at 70 Crémazie will therefore be a firm unit price and invoices will be submitted separately every time an installation is completed.

This NPP covers a requirement to be solicited amongst the General Stream of Suppliers (SA holders).

The bid solicitation is also open to suppliers who are not Supply Arrangement (SA) holders. In order for new suppliers to bid on this solicitation, the new supplier must first qualify for a SA. The process to qualify for a SA is detailed in RFSA # E60PQ-140003/C and can be found on the Government Electronic Tendering Service(GETS-https://buyandsell.gc.ca/policy-and-guidelines/standard-acquisition-clauses-and-conditions-manual). Canada is not required to delay the award ofa resulting contract pending the evaluation ofan arrangement and issuance ofa SA by the PWGSC Supply Arrangement Authority.
