    Description of Work:

    The Department of Foreign Affairs Trade and Development (DFATD) manages Canada’s diplomatic and consular relations, promotes the country’s international trade, and leads Canada’s international development and humanitarian assistance. DFATD maintains Canadian government offices abroad with diplomatic and consular status on behalf of all government departments.

    The IM/IT Bureau (SID) plays an important role within DFATD by enabling its ability to achieve priorities and advance the Government of Canada’s international agenda. The bureau supports the governments’ network of 174 missions in 107 countries and working with partners across the department and elsewhere in government to develop and maintain a large range of internal and external-facing applications to deliver outcomes for Canada and Canadians.

    DFATD requires resources to fulfill capacity issues in the project delivery team. Global Affairs Canada also requires resources for the modernization, automation, design, development of the project management lifecycle and processes.

    The support team required includes the following resources:

    • P.9 Project Manager – Level 3 – Up to six (6) resources

      Note:  Four resources are evaluated before contract award with up to two additional resources if and when requested.
