    Description

This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of The Office of the DND/CAF Ombudsman’s Office (the "Client") for Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) under the TBIPS Supply Arrangement (SA) method of supply.

It is intended to result in the award of [1] contract for [6] months or until the work is completed, plus [12] one-month irrevocable options allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract(s).

There is a security requirement associated with this requirement. For additional information, see Part 6 – Security Requirements, and Part 7 – Resulting Contract Clauses. Bidders should consult the "Security Requirements on PWGSC Bid Solicitations – Instructions for Bidders" document on the Departmental Standard Procurement Documents (http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca) Website

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement (CColFTA), the Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA), and the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPanFTA) if it is in force.

The TBIPS Supply Arrangement EN578-170432 is incorporated by reference and forms part of this bid solicitation, as though expressly set out in it, subject to any express terms and conditions contained in this bid solicitation. The capitalized terms not defined in this bid solicitation have the meaning given to them in the TBIPS SA.

Only selected TBIPS SA Holders currently holding a TBIPS SA for Tier 1 in the National Capital Region (NCR) under the EN578-170432 series of SAs are invited to compete. SA Holders may not submit a bid in response to this bid solicitation unless they have been invited to do so. However, should an uninvited SA Holder wish to be invited, it may contact the Contracting Authority to request an invitation at any time prior to five business days before the published bid closing date, and an invitation will be made to that SA Holder unless it would not be consistent with the efficient operation of the procurement system. In no circumstance will such an invitation require Canada to extend a bid closing date. The following SA Holders have been initially invited to bid on this requirement.
