Procurement specialist for Justice Canada

The Department of Justice Canada (JUS) requires the services of one Procurement Specialist to be engaged through this solicitation and they will be required to take the material already developed by JUS and build it into a complete Statement of Work and Technical Evaluation Criteria (Mandatory and Rated) for JUS upcoming security system integrator contracting process. The scope of work includes procurement activities connected with the implementation of Justice Canada’s enterprise-wide security project, including:

• developing of statements of work, technical evaluation criteria and other documents required for project procurement (RFP process), cost and estimate management;
• handling enquiries from bidders and other interested parties related to the solicitation for goods and services for the JUS enterprise-wide security project;
• planning and coordinating with JUS personnel from Corporate Services Branch and Contracting and Material Management Division, as well as procurement specialists from Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC);
• providing updates, briefings and reports to JUS senior management on progress and concerns of procurement and contract management on a regular basis and when requested; and
• participating as a member of the bid evaluation team throughout the bid evaluation process as instructed and led by the Contracting, Materiel Management and Financial Systems Division (CMMD)
