Description of the Requirement:

Employment and Social Development has a requirement for a Business Process Consultant.

The overarching objective of the contract is to acquire professional expertise and services to support the Minister’s mandate commitment to review and recommend ways to increase processing speed and efficiency of Labor Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs). This will assist in establishing and meeting service standards by analyzing the operational framework and conducting a review of the process structure. The result of this analysis will help identify possible structural gaps and recommend strategic and operational solutions to streamlining the overall process from receiving to processing to issuing the decision, to ultimately deliver a constant and standard service. To achieve this, the initial step of mapping the full current process of LMIAs and its time-motion study will provide a solid baseline on which proposed efficiencies and delivery improvement initiatives can be measured.

The proposed period of contract shall be from contract award up to March 31, 2020 inclusive.
