    NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT

    Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS)

    This requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement (SA) Holders under EN578-170432 who qualified under Tier 1 for services in the National Capital Region for the following category:

    Description of Work:

    On an as-and-when-requested basis, the Department of National Defence (DND) requires one (1) Level 3 Enterprise Architect and one (1) Level 1 Enterprise Architect to support the delivery of both Compendium content and Compendium functionality to the corporate Enterprise Architecture platform – QualiWare 6.6 – and to support the building of interfaces between QualiWare and other corporately-managed DND tools. It is intended to result in the award of up to two (2) contracts. The period of any resulting contract will be from the date of Contract to one (1) year later. Any resulting contract will include the irrevocable option to extend the resulting contract term by up to two (2) additional 1-year periods under the same conditions.

    For services requirements, Bidders must provide the required information as detailed in article 4 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation, in order to comply with Treasury Board policies and directives on contracts awarded to former public servants.

    This procurement is subject to the Controlled Goods Program. The Defence Production Act defines Canadian Controlled Goods as certain goods listed in Canada’s Export Control List, a regulation made pursuant to the Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA).

    The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
