Request for Proposals (RFP) – Data Cable Infrastructure Services

RFP Scope: 

This RFP is for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of network data cabling systems in all FCC offices across Canada. FCC is seeking one (1) vendor to provide the most cost-effective data cabling infrastructure service across Canada. The successful vendor is to provide services and equipment as required for the provisioning or upgrade of some of the locations listed in Appendix A. The term of this engagement is (3) years, with an option to extend this arrangement for additional two (2) one-year options.

FCC does not have a set schedule or sequencing for the initiatives. Scheduling and sequencing of the installations will be agreed upon with the successful proponent. 

Note: While FCC expects and intends to engage the successful proponent to perform net new installations and complete upgrades for some of the offices listed in Appendix A over a three-year period, FCC will not guarantee any volume or exclusivity over the work described in this RFP. FCC may also choose to engage the successful proponent to provide other related ad-hoc services, as required.

Vendors should note that: 

• this opportunity notice references a non-binding, competitive RFP, not a call for tenders. FCC is not obligated to proceed with the work described in the RFP scope, and may cancel the RFP at any time. 

• FCC’s procurement process allows for negotiation between FCC and one or more vendors, prior to awarding a contract.
