    Public Safety Canada (PS) requires level 3 programmer analysts on as and when requested basis to develop and support corporate applications within the Application Services team.

    Application Developer(s) will perform work through task authorizations to support the application development of corporate applications. These resources will be responsible for tasks related to the NewsDesk service such as developing application components, user interface design, coding of business and data access layers and database design. The resources will be used to augment the Application Development team’s capacity.

    All work will occur on an as and when required basis as identified through task authorizations.

    Contract Duration

    The contract period will be for one year from the date of contract with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to three additional one-year periods

    The following SA Holders have been invited to submit a proposal

    This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders Arrangement, EN578-170432, who qualified under Tier 1 for services in the National Capital Region for the following category:

    Level 3, Programmer/ Analyst

    Bidders must submit a bid for all resource categories.

    The work is currently not being performed by a Contractor and has not been performed by any supplier during the last 12 months.

    Number of Contracts to be awarded: One

    Only the following TBIPS SA Holders currently holding a TBIPS SA for Tier 1 in the National Capital Region under the EN578-170432 series of SAs are invited to submit a proposal. SA Holders may not submit a bid in response to this bid solicitation unless they have been invited to do so. However, should an uninvited SA Holder wish to be invited, it may contact the Contracting Authority to request an invitation at any time prior to five business days before the published bid closing date, and an invitation will be made to that SA Holder unless it is inconsistent with the efficient operation of the procurement system. In no circumstance will such an invitation require Canada to extend a bid closing date.
