Construction – RCMP Detachment - Whati, NT

Description:

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) requires a new single story detachment to be constructed (stick built) in Whati, NWT. Footprint of building is 314 m2 with heated crawlspace. There is a utility (pre-fab) building of 48m2 for water tanks, boilers and generator. Construction site is adjacent to existing owned property.  Anticipate winter road delivery for materials, with spring construction start.

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by September 30th, 2022.

This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first. 

No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.
