Description
Canada published the Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) 6D034-203681/B as the first phase of the procurement process for a Vaccine Logistics Service Provider. Respondents were invited to pre-qualify, and were informed that only Pre-qualified Bidders (PQB) would be permitted to participate in any subsequent phases of the procurement process.
During the ITQ process, PSPC allowed more potential suppliers to qualify to provide Canada with an end-to-end logistics solution for vaccines, increasing competition and giving Canada more options for an efficient and effective solution that will get Canadians access to an approved vaccine.
Canada reviewed Mandatory Criteria M4 and determined a Wholesale DEL was sufficient for the scope of work required by the Logistics Service Provider.
With the completion of the ITQ Phase, Canada is publishing the list of PQBs.
The PQBs (in alphabetical order) are:
- Federal Express Canada Corp. and Innomar Strategies Inc.
- Kuehne + Nagel Ltd.
- McKesson Canada Corporation
- UPS Healthcare
