    Description

    AMENDMENT NO. 2:

    The purpose of this amendment no.2 is to include Addendum No.1 which contains a response to a Bidder question.

    The Canadian Coast Guard, Aids to Navigation and Waterways establishes aids to navigation that assist vessels to navigate safely through our waterways.

    Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) maintains a Seasonal Aids to Navigation System, consisting of forty (40) unlighted buoys and six (6) unlighted beacons, on the Southern Lakes in Yukon Territory and British Columbia. The buoys are deployed in May right after the ice recedes and are checked for correct position once a month until they are recovered and stored in October, shortly before freeze up. The beacons are left in place all year and are checked for correct operation once a month during the navigation season. In addition to these planned monthly checks; repairs and repositioning are done as required

    Contract Period: May 19, 2021 to March 31, 2022 with three (3) one (1) year option periods.

    THERE IS NO SECURITY REQUIREMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS REQUIREMENT.
