RFP Scope: 

FCC is seeking for proposals from qualified Proponents to deliver network hardware, software and support licensing in accordance with the requirements outlined in the RFP. FCC will maintain ownership of all network hardware. FCC requires for Proponents to quote, supply, and support asset management reporting and processes for our network hardware, software, and support licensing on an on-going basis, and as deemed required. FCC’s objective is to establish a pre-qualified supplier list comprised of more than one Proponent, to provide the following:   

1. Network hardware that can include, but is not limited to, routers, switches, access points, firewalls, virtual cloud-based networking, etc. (the aforementioned network hardware shall include any software and or support licensing, as required);   

2. Competitive pricing on all FCC orders;   

3. Incentive programs FCC can leverage;  

4. Support renewal assistance; and    

5. Assistance with Asset Management and Product Lifecyle.    

Mandatory Requirement*: Proponent must be a Certified Cisco Reseller  

*Failure to meet this requirement means the Proponent’s proposal will not be evaluated further.    

RFP Schedule: 

• RFP issue date: June 23, 2021 

• Vendor questions accepted until: July 5, 2021 at 2:00PM* 

• RFP closing date and time: August 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM*

*Central Standard Time (CST)- Saskatchewan, Canada Time zone 

RFP Process Considerations: 

Vendors should note that: 

• this opportunity notice references a non-binding, competitive RFP, not a call for tenders. FCC is not obligated to proceed with the work described in the RFP scope, and may cancel the RFP at any time. 

• FCC’s procurement process allows for negotiation between FCC and one or more vendors, prior to awarding a contract.
