RFP Scope:

FCC currently sources photo / video shoots in various locations across Canada based on demand each year. The frequency is dependent on projects. Shoots may include requirements for photography, videography or a combination thereof. Suppliers are expected to own the majority of the equipment required to complete an assignment. In circumstances where a specific treatment is required, FCC will compensate for specialized equipment rental. 

Overall, assignments will be on-site either on farms, agricultural operations or at food processing facilities. Suppliers need to be comfortable in these environments and respect that many of the operations are family-run and we are accessing private property. Food and animal security regulations must be followed at all times. 

FCC is releasing this RFP to identify a Pre-Qualified (PQ) List of providers for commercial photography, video services and b-roll/stock images/footage. The objective of the PQ List will be to: 

• designate qualified vendors in different regions across Canada, that can be deployed efficiently for shoots in their region (or other regions if/where requested by FCC) 
• have the ability to purchase b-roll/stock images/footage from qualified suppliers 

RFP Schedule:

• RFP issue date: July 9, 2021
• Vendor questions accepted until: July 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM*
• RFP closing date and time: August 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM *

• this opportunity notice references a non-binding, competitive RFP, not a call for tenders. FCC is not obligated to proceed with the work described in the RFP scope, and may cancel the RFP at any time.
• FCC’s procurement process allows for negotiation between FCC and one or more vendors, prior to awarding a contract.
