NPP - TBIPS - A.1 Application/Software Architect

Description of Work:

As NSERC and SSHRC work towards a holistic and integrated solution, there is an immediate operational requirement to provide technical solutions to the agencies’ programs that are critically in need of support systems to capture, store, analyze, report on and ensure the integrity of their program data, and issue awards in accordance with government policy.

The objectives of this assignment are to architect, design and develop enabling technology solutions that, once tested and deployed, will provide the ability to manage the entire lifecycle of grants for the Agencies’ programs. The architecture of these solutions must be flexible enough to allow for a seamless integration into and evolution of the enterprise architecture while addressing requirements for new funding opportunities in alignment with changing business processes. The new integrated solutions and architectures must also:

• Replace current legacy architectures, systems and manual tools;

• Better integrate data;

• Improve operational efficiencies;

• Improve interaction with stakeholders; and

• Allow for complex but intuitive reporting not currently available.
