RFP Scope:

FCC is subject to the Official Languages (OL) Act, which requires communication to employees and all respective clients to be provided in both official Canadian languages. To meet the increasing and shifting business requirements, FCC is seeking via this RFP to establish a pre-qualified provider list from which to engage (i.e. independent translators and/or larger firms (with specified/dedicated translators), to complete Canadian English to Canadian French translations and/or Canadian French to Canadian English translations, across multiple subject matters.

• RFP issue date: September 8, 2021
• Vendor questions accepted until: September 20, 2021 at 2:00PM*
• RFP closing date and time: October 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM*

Vendors should note that:

• this opportunity notice references a non-binding, competitive RFP, not a call for tenders. FCC is not obligated to proceed with the work described in the RFP scope, and may cancel the RFP at any time.
• FCC’s procurement process allows for negotiation between FCC and one or more vendors, prior to awarding a contract.
