RFP Scope:

Over the past six years FCC has built a very robust network that includes an SD-WAN solution. This SD-WAN solution has served FCC well and now it is time to upgrade/replace our existing solution.

FCC endeavors to retain all the benefits of our current SD WAN solution (e.g., intent-based routing, auto failover, direct Internet access, etc.). Our objective is to partner with a Managed Service Provider that will introduce a new stable, mature SD-wan solution that supports all the mandatory requirements while offering direct internet access without compromising security. FCC plans to retain our overall architecture (Two links with minimum standards); however, our link speeds may be reviewed. FCC also requires detailed reporting and monitoring capabilities from the successful proponent.

RFP Schedule:

• RFP issue date: October 18, 2021
• Vendor questions accepted until: October 29, 2021
• RFP closing date and time: December 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM

• this opportunity notice references a non-binding, competitive RFP, not a call for tenders. FCC is not obligated to proceed with the work described in the RFP scope, and may cancel the RFP at any time.
• FCC’s procurement process allows for negotiation between FCC and one or more vendors, prior to awarding a contract.
