    Description of the Requirement:

    In December 2018, new legislation created the department of Women and Gender Equality Canada, transfroming the former agency, Status of Women Canada, into an official department of the Government of Canada. This change modernizes and formalizes, in law, the roles of the Minister and the Department. As a result of this change the department has seen a significant budget increase in program funding leading to an increase in Contribution Agreements and the need for supports in conducting audits, implementing a training plan for Centre of Expertise staff on conducting financial monitors as well as the development and update of tools and procedures in financial monitoring. This contract will ensure that WAGE is conducting and putting in place proper Risk Management strategies.

    Women and Gender Equality Canada’s Centre of Expertise in Grants and Contributions requires the services of a Consulting Firm to provide financial monitoring training development and update of financial monitoring tools as well as conducting project audits for the three Contribution Agreements.

  Proposed period of contract:

  The proposed period of contract shall be from contract award to March 31, 2022.
