NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP)

Title: Government Building Construction – Kindersley, Saskatchewan

Description:

• Full construction services to build a new contained use building, storage building, and site development of an existing greenfield in Kindersley, Saskatchewan.
• Construction services to include, but not limited to:

‐ Construction of a 930 square meter single‐storey steel‐framed and load bearing concrete block building. Buildingincludes office space, a garage, storage areas, contained use areas, and a service mezzanine.

‐ Construction to be of high quality and durable materials with some inclusion of heavy timber. Project is inclusive of interior finishes, millwork, glazing, doors, etc.

‐ Construction of associated structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

• Construction of a 90 square meter detached storage building.
• Development of site including grading, hardscaping, landscaping, signage, lighting, and paving.
• Project also includes a self‐contained solar photovoltaic system.

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by December 31, 2023.

This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first. 

No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.
