    Nature of Requirements:

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    Objectives:

    As part of a construction project, Correctional Service of Canada CORCAN requires the services of a contractor to demolish existing prefabricated concrete elements and supply, deliver and install new prefabricated concrete elements and aluminium windows. The work site is located on the grounds of the Archambault Institution medium security located at 242 boulevard Gibson, Ste-Anne-des-Plaines, Quebec.

    IMPORTANT: There will be a mandatory site visit April 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m (EDT). Details on the site visit are included in the bid solicitation document.

    Deliverables: The Contractor must provide the tools, equipment, supplies, labor and transportation required to complete the work.

    As a responsible employer, the Government of Canada is committed to protecting the health and safety of its employees. On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced its Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including Correctional Service of Canada.

    In alignment with this important measure, all supplier personnel (including subcontractor personnel) who access federal government workplaces will also be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This requirement came into effect on November 15, 2021.
