    This requirement is for Fisheries and Oceans Canada/Canadian Coast Guard.

    Title: Level I and level II Thermography Certification courses

    Objective:

     

    Provide Certified Thermography Training to the Canadian Coast Guard

    Background:

    Certified Thermography Training is essential for Canadian Coast Guard officers to carry out predictive maintenance inspections.

    The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has a requirement to perform thermography inspections on CCG vessels. Coast Guard operational personnel will be conducting these inspections and require certified training.

    The thermography training will be procured on as when requested basis by the CCG in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia by regional or national training coordinators.

    At the present time there are approximately 73 CCG employees which will represent the initial training to be scheduled. Ongoing training will also be needed as new people move into the respective roles.

    The expected timeframe for thermography training will be on a continuous basis.

    Scope of Work:

    The Canadian Coast Guard requires the services of qualified Contractors who can provide as a minimum level I Thermography Certification courses in English or French in:

    • live online synchronous learning; or

    • in person training; or

    • online on demand; or

    • custom onsite with instructors in person which can be organized for groups of at least six (6) CCG employees.

    Security Requirement:

    There is no security associated with this requirement.

    Period of Contract:

    The period of contract shall be from date of award to March 31, 2023. There are (2) option periods of one (1) year to be exercised at the discretion of the Department.

     

    Amendment 1:

    The hyperlinks in the original Request for Standing Offers (RFSO) documents were not active. The amendment is to replace the RFSO documents so they have active hyperlinks.
